TEX 113 Yarn Production Systems (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: Take TEX 110 Corequisites: None This course covers the yarn production principles used in yarn manufacturing. Emphasis will be on drawing, roving, spinning, and twisting as well as opening, cleaning, and blending, on both long and short staple machinery. Aftern completion a student should be able to explain the processes used in both long and short staple yarn manufacturing.
