The Medical Office Administration-Billing and Coding certificate prepares individuals for entry-level administration and financial roles in medical office.
Upon completion, students will be equipped with skills in practice management, electronic heath record systems, and basic billing and coding to efficiently complete the billing cycle and manage patient encounters in a medical office.
Program Learning Outcome
Graduates will:
- Demonstrate decision-making skills in managing office operations, including data entry, communications, equipment maintenance, scheduling, inventory, and financial tasks in the medical setting.
