The primary objective of the Diploma Program of the Electronics Engineering Technology curriculum is to introduce students to the employment opportunities in electronics engineering technology. The objective is fulfilled through the study and application of electronics engineering technology courses. 

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates will:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to apply a knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and technology to electronics engineering technology problems that require limited application of principles but extensive practical knowledge.
  2. Demonstrate an ability to conduct standard tests and measurements, and to conduct, analyze, and interpret electronics engineering technology experiments.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence appropriate to the application of circuit analysis and design.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence appropriate to the application of analog electronics.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence appropriate to the application of digital electronics.
  6. Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence appropriate to the application of physics to electrical/electronic circuits in a rigorous mathematical environment at or above the level of algebra and trigonometry.
