REL 111 Eastern Religions (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: RED 090 and ENG 090 Corequisites: None This course introduces the major Asian religious traditions. Topics include Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Shinto. Upon completion, students should be able to identify the origins, history, beliefs, and practices of the religions studied. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in humanities/fine arts.
