PSY 275 Health Psychology (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: PSY 150 Corequisites: None This course covers the biopsychosocial dynamics of stress and the maintenance of good health. Topics include enhancing health and well-being, stress management, lifestyle choices and attitudes, the mind-body relationship, nutrition, exercise, and fitness. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the psychological factors related to health and well-being. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
