MAT 167 Discrete Mathematics (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: MAT 121 , MAT 161 , MAT 171, or MAT 280 Corequisites: None This course is a study of discrete mathematics with emphasis on applications. Topics include number systems, combinations/permutations, mathematical logic/proofs, sets/counting, Boolean algebra, mathematical induction, trees/graphs, and algorithms. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate competence in the topics covered. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
