GEO 131 Physical Geography I (4 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 2 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: RED 090 Corequisites: None This course introduces the basic physical components that help shape the earth. Emphasis is placed on the geographic grid, cartography, weather, climate, biogeography, and soils. Upon completion, students should be able to identify these components and explain how they interact. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
