ENG 265 Thematic World Lit I (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: ENG 112 , ENG 113 or ENG 114 Corequisites: None This course provides a thematic survey of selected works from major world authors. Emphasis is placed on understanding literary themes, such as initiation, conformity, and rebellion, from historical, critical, and universal perspectives. Upon completion, students should be able to interpret, analyze, and respond to selected works relating to universal themes. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
