Emphasis is placed on exploration and manipulation of materials. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate familiarity with a variety of methods, materials, and processes. This course provides an introduction to the medium of clay exploring hand building construction, simple wheel thrown forms, glaze technique, and creative expression.
