This curriculum is designed to give the individual basic skills and related information needed to gain limited employment in the Industrial Systems field.

This program provides the opportunity for individuals to have employable skills in the job market in the area of industrial safety. Employment areas include field safety managers, safety technicians, and warehouse safety directors.

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates will:

  1. Assess the impact of safety/security issues for the operation of corporations and businesses and develop appropriate action plans.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the engineering/technology behind safety and security solutions.
  3. Develop applicable environment, health, and/or safety plans that insure workplace ability to comply with requirements of Federal, State, Local regulatory standards, and applicable industrial standards.
