PSY 211 Psychology of Adjustment (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: PSY 150 Corequisites: None This course introduces the study of the adjustment process focusing on contemporary challenges individuals must deal with in everyday life. Topics include theories of behavior, career choices, self-understanding, coping mechanisms, human relationships, intimacy, sociocultural factors influencing healthy personal adjustment, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the processes of adjustment. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
