HUM 211 Humanities I (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: ENG 111 Corequisites: None This course introduces the humanities as a record in literature, music, art, history, religion, and philosophy of humankind’s answers to the fundamental questions of existence. Emphasis is placed on the interconnectedness of various aspects of cultures from ancient through early modern times. Upon completion, students should be able to identify significant figures and cultural contributions of the periods studied. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in humanities/fine arts.
