HIS 214 Modern Europe Since 1815 (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: RED 090 Corequisites: None This course traces the history of Europe from 1815 to the present. Topics include the Congress of Vienna, the Revolutionary era, liberalism, socialism, imperialism, nationalism, World Wars I and 11, and the Cold War. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant intellectual, political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in modern Europe since 1815. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
