DFT 231 Jig & Fixture Design (2 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None This course introduces the study of jigs and fixtures. Topics include different types, components, and uses of jigs and fixtures. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze, design, and complete a set of working drawings for a jig or fixture. Oral and written communications skills will be emphasized.
