CIV 211 Hydraulics and Hydrology (3 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: CIV 110 or MEC 250 Corequisites: None This course introduces the basic engineering principles and characteristics of hydraulics and hydrology. Topics include precipitation and runoff, fluid statics and dynamics, flow measurement, and pipe and open channel flow. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze and size drainage structures.
