Students enrolled in the Broadcasting and Production Technology-Sports Broadcasting Certificate will develop professional skills in sports broadcasting, video production and related applications. Training will emphasize speech, script writing, production planning, live broadcasting, and post production. Hands-on training and teamwork approaches are essential to the instructional process.
Upon successful completion, students are prepared to enter sports broadcasting, production, and related industries in a variety of occupations.
Program Learning Outcome
Graduates will:

Demonstrate the ability to perform successfully on a sports broadcasting crew and master all aspects of the live production process.
