New students are not being accepted into this program due to future program termination.  Students currently enrolled in this program are under a teach-out plan.

The purpose of this certificate is to provide an opportunity for individuals who want to fulfill professional or general interest needs.

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates will:

  1. Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  2. Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of building codes and their applications to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the building occupants.
  3. Work as a team member by demonstrating good communication skills, cooperation, and providing a supportive environment.
