This curriculum is designed to give an individual entry-level skills needed to gain employment as a machinist or Computer Numerical Control Programmer(CNC).

It is recommended that students have the necessary math and reading skill before enrollment in this program.

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates will:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competencies in manufacturing/mechanical production, computers, CNC machining operation, setup, and programming of various systems, and (CAM) Computer-Aided-Manufacturing.
  2. Demonstrate an ability to think critically about technical problems, communicate effectively, and perform as a responsible professional.
  3. Demonstrate understanding of ethical/social responsibility, respect for diversity, and commitment to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
