PED 172 Outdoor Living (2 Credit Hours) Class Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 2 Clinical/Work Experience Hours: 0 Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None This course is designed to acquaint the beginning camper with outdoor skills. Topics include camping techniques such as cooking and preserving food, safety, and setting up camp. Upon completion, students should be able to set up camp sites in field experiences using proper procedures. This course has been approved for transfer under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
